We must understand who we are in Christ to understand what His death, burial, and resurrection
Made available to us and within us (as we are in Him).
We must understand that the devil is Christ’s antagonist. And though he was defeated at the cross at “It is finished” he still has influential power and is in a contest against God. We cannot play in his field, though claiming to be saved, but live ragged lives and bring the sacrifice of Christ on the cross into an open shame(…..) We must first choose Christ and this life in truth. When you have made a conscious decision to live for Christ, it is the daily sacrificial, high integrity, high moral-living, God believing walk that sometimes separates you from friends, family, activities, and old mind sets. We are wrestling against the cunning devices of the devil to separate us from God and add us to his family that is destroyed. The devil comes to steal, kill, and destroy us (our influence, our faith, ultimately our mind). We have power over the enemy but we must be knowledgeable (mind) because when our minds think, our mouths speak, when our mouths speak WORDS, these words create. When we create (life), we are acting just like our father and when the devil looks at us he sees the image of God. When we apply God’s word to our lives and we prove to the devil that his kingdom (lust of the eye, pride of life, and lust of the flesh) isn’t appealing to us and we choose God NO MATTER WHAT, this is us winning that battle for the faith, this is us laying hands on eternal life. This is when we have allowed Christ to live in us, this is how we fight the good fight of faith.
