Push through the pain

I recall the labor of each one of my three pregnancies.  Each experience was unique to itself and presented it’s very own set of challenges.  The result of all three pregnancy experiences was a new born baby.  Along with this new born baby was a whole new set of challenges and again a unique experience with each one.  Each baby grew into their own person. Each person with their own set of ideas, desires, likes and dislikes.  This little person with it’s huge appetite, it’s determined mind, and a strong knowledge for what she wanted and when she wanted it! OMG, if that isn’t life I don’t know what is!  Life is a journey of twists, turns, ups, downs, and PAIN!  The journey seems to be broken down into chapters, these chapters form books, and the books develop into series.  It’s change after change (the letters), issue after issue (the words, and decision after decision (the sentence). Before you know it, your decisions have built a life just as the sentences build the paragraph, the paragraph, the chapter, and the chapter ~ the book!  It is amazing to me how all 3 of these very distinctly different situations are so much alike.  The pregnancy, the baby, the book (which tells the story of) your life ~ all equal one thing …….CHANGE!  Change comes in many shapes, sizes, experiences, opportunities but it can never stop being what it is.  It is inevitable, unavoidable, and at times difficult but change will find us all.  Whether the greying of our hair, the extra weight around the waistline, the growing up of our children, or the mere fact that things are never as they were! Many are resistant to change of which  I am currently under construction lol no really,  LOL.  I am learning that no matter what the situation that to truly find peace in God, peace from God and peace within who I am ~ I must change.  No matter how much you want your children to remain babies, toddlers, or teenagers ~ they will grow up! So, why stress yourself out and worry  living in unrest when most things is out of your control. Life will change, whether we like it, participate willingly or not, we will change.  I can get my fountain of youth treatment (hair dyed) every month if I choose,  but peeking through the dark beautiful blacks of my dark and lovely youth serum, is the proof of change! I have learned to rock with it, roll with it, and keep it moving! I can’t stop and I surrender my fight! Now I will continue to treat with the youth serum :-D, but I will not miss a step – tripping over the inevitable! Change is not easy but it is necessary! Change is Good!Web-Header2
